The Pivot Plan 



This phase is all about identifying the root cause. In this phase, we will explore your pain point. Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to sleep better and have more energy? Were you recently diagnosed with an illness and need to modify your diet and lifestyle? Struggling with brain fog? 


Those are a few examples of what may prompt you to work with us. Once enrolled in coaching, we will dig deeper into your challenge and discover the root source of the issue. For example, if you have unexplainable weight gain, puffiness around your eyes, and joint pain, perhaps you are not eating too much and getting older but struggling with inflammation in the body. Through a comprehensive assessment, skilled inquiry and collaboration with your coach you will be ready for Phase 2: Your Why

In this phase we will identify and leverage your why. We will discover why exactly you want to make healthier choices. We will identify the underlying fears, worries, but also hopes and aspirations. Are you scared that you may never feel comfortable, because you can't lose the 30 pounds you have been putting on and taking off since high school? Are you worried that you are unfit for a project, because you are suffering from daily brain fog? Is your poor health affecting your performance, but you are passionate about the mission of your work and would hate to lose it? Do you have your heart set on a new promotion, but you are having a hard time feeling well and effective in your current position? Do you dream about being home in the evening with your family, but you can't seem to finish work in 8 hours due to lack of energy and drive?

Finding your core why will be the anchor and guiding light towards achieving Your What.  It will give you meaning and confidence towards your new health habits, which will be tailored for you in Phase 3: Your How

In this phase you and your coach will create actionable steps and informed wellness strategies to reach your goals and fulfill your hopes. The changes you make will fit into your life and take you in a new direction of sustainable health. For example, do you struggle with low energy around 3pm? Your coach will offer you options and/or approaches that you can do now and sustain into the future. One approach - minimize sugar or coffee, because they create energy swings. Another approach would be looking into your sleep patterns where refinement would make you less tired. Yet another approach - try moving your daily walk to 2pm, which will get your heart pumping and your body and mind primed for 3pm. Does one of these options look more appealing or feel more appropriate than the other, or maybe two, but not all three? Deciding on the steps in your how will be directed by what you CAN do and supported by your coach. Through this phase, your coach will be on your team, hold you accountable, educate you, inspire you and clearly guide you on your path to the healthy you that YOU want.
